ADMISSIONS
At European Global School, it is our mission to provide highly affordable education through state-of-the-art means. Our fee structure is designed in such a way that you can study without any financial burden. In order to further facilitate our students in this direction, we have devised certain financing methods that allow individuals to study without the hassle of worrying about their tuition fee. With the help of our scholarship program, credit transfer policy, fee payment options and employer tuition reimbursement programs you can get a substantial reduction in your fees. By utilizing these options, you can reduce your total fees up to a great deal.
For the convenience of students, European Global School has devised easy payment method for all our students enrolled in our Online or Research Based degree programs. Please contact Admissions Office for more details.
The Application Fee is nonrefundable except in instances when applicants withdraw their application for admission before an admissions decision is made. Applicants may write a formal request for a refund of the Application Fee to their personal advisor. If approved, refunds will be available to the applicant within 30 days of the submission of the formal request and the refund will be issued using the same payment method used by the applicant to pay the fee.
Students who remain in their course beyond the course withdrawal deadline are not eligible for a refund of the program fee. The tuition fee is only refundable in instances where the University has canceled a student's course or if the student’s work was not assessed at all during the course.
A student has the right to cancel this Agreement in any manner and at any time. Cancellation is effective five (5) days after EGS receives notification of a student’s cancellation. During this time, you may notify European Global School that you no longer wish to cancel this Agreement. Notice of Cancellation is effective if it shows that the student no longer wishes to be bound by this Agreement or to continue their attendance at the EGS. If the student cancels this Agreement, the student shall not be liable to the EGS and the EGS shall refund any money paid through attendance at the first class session or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later, excepting any non-refundable fees.
European Global School's credit transfer policy, you do not have to waste time and money for courses previously studied. We will accept the credit hours of those courses that you have already attended, are listed in your desired program and you have their transcripts. After successful acceptance of your courses, we will reduce the same from your program. This will reduce both your tuition and time required to complete your education.
If you think you may be eligible to apply for credit transfer, please ensure you make your application before you register on a module so you know exactly what you have been awarded and exactly what you’ll need to study to gain your chosen qualification. A credit transfer application can be made at any time in the year; we strongly recommend you make your application as soon as possible so you have time to plan your studies. We process applications in strict order of date received, so if you make your application very close to our cut-off date, we'll let you know the outcome very close to final enrolment date. It usually takes 4-6 weeks to process a credit transfer application.
It’s free to apply for credit transfer and you are under no obligation to study with us. Nothing is taken away from your previous study – the purpose of credit transfer is simply to reduce the amount of time it will take you to gain a qualification, and reduce the overall cost.
A key principle in this process is that decisions on the value of a particular award, program of study or part thereof are the responsibility of the receiving institution or organization. In order to ensure the highest possible standards of credit transfer, the European Global School has adopted the guidelines of the European Bologna process system based on ECTS credits. The Bologna Process is a series of ministerial meetings and agreements between European countries designed to ensure comparability in the standards and quality of higher education qualifications. Through the Bologna Accords, the process has created the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), in particular under the Lisbon Recognition Convention.
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a standard aimed at comparing the study attainments and performances of higher education students across the European Union and other collaborating European countries. For each successfully completed study programme, ECTS credits are awarded. One academic year corresponds to 60 ECTS-credits, that are equivalent to 1,500–1,800 hours of study in all countries, respective of standard or qualification type, and is used to facilitate transfer and progression throughout the Union.
*EQF: The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) was designed by the European Commission as part of the Bologna Process for lifelong education and learning, EQF is a European common qualification framework that allows European countries to compare their respective qualification levels.
European Credit Transfer and accumulation System. One semester represents 30 ECTS. An academic year represents 60 ECTS credits.
It is generally accepted that in order to convert from ECTS to U.S. credits, one should divide the ECTS total by 2.
